(Applicable for applicants not residing in their country of origin). Same to be valid for at least\u00a0three months after proposed date of departure from Mauritius.<\/li><li>Copy of <strong><u>reservation<\/u><\/strong> passage ticket to country of origin or residence.<\/li><li>Copy of bank statement for the last month<\/li><li>Hotel (<strong>reservation<\/strong>) for accommodation:-<p>Name of Hotel\/Apartment\/Guest house &#8211; Telephone Number and email address.<br \/>if sponsored by a citizen of Mauritius or foreign resident- to produce evidence of sponsorship, Copy of ID\/Passport, Residence permit, proof of address and recent Bank statement.<\/p><\/li><li>Copy of passport of accompanying person:-Married certificate for spouse, Birth Certificate for Children.<\/li><li>Business visa:- applicant should also submit letter from local sponsor\/company.<\/li><li>Workshop\/Events and Conference- In addition, covering letter from Ministries or Institutions concerned is needed.<\/li><li>Social Visa :- Letter from Religious Institutions in Mauritius<\/li><li>In case of Minor:- Consent letter from parents, copy of birth certificate of applicant and copy of parent passports.<\/li><li>Any other documents as may be required by this office.<\/li><\/ul><p>NOTE: &#8211; All documents should be duly translated in English or French.<\/p><p>Visa will be issued as far as practicable within a period of <strong><u>twelve (12) working days<\/u><\/strong> subject to submission of complete application requirements.<\/p><p>Applicant is requested to apply for visa at least <strong><u>one month<\/u><\/strong> prior to travel.<\/p><p>A visa does not guarantee admission into Mauritius.
