It has been reported that fake/falsified Certificate of Mauritius Citizenship, National Identity Card as well as Mauritius Passport are being proposed in China through WeChat website application.
This Office wishes to inform that the proposal for the obtention of the above documents is fraudulent.
Application and issuance of such documents should be made with the Government of Mauritius only and NOT through any agencies.

Your attention is drawn that it is a criminal offence and if found guilty, may result in severe court punishment.
